IAVI's mission is to ensure the development of safe, effective, accessible, preventive HIV vaccines for use throughout the world.
eTraining Portal aims
Training people about development and clinical evaluation of vaccines against HIV in collaboration with the Healt Science eTraining Foundation (HSeT ) will serve IAVI mission.
The HSeT Foundation is governed by articles 80 and seq. of the Swiss Civil Code and registered in the Trade Register of the Canton de Vaud, Switzerland. The legal seat of the Foundation shall be in Lausanne (VD), Switzerland. The HSeT Foundation has its origin in the Swiss Virtual Campus program sponsored by the Swiss Government and the Swiss Universities
The training curriculum and mentoring activities are available for both traditional and eLearning course participants to enhance the educational experience. Online or web-based training can also be used to foster self-directed learning in advance of intensive workshops, held locally and at a central location.
